Versatile Pilafs

Ingredients:
2 cups Long Grain Brown Rice
2 tsp. Butter or Olive Oil
4 cups Broth or Water
1/2 cup any nutmeats or sesame seeds
1 package frozen vegetables, or
2 cups fresh, chopped herbs Salt & Pepper, as desired

Directions:
Heat a heavy skillet on medium heat. Add oil & stir with a wooden spoon. Add rice & continue stirring for 5 min. or until grains are toasted. Add broth or water, cover tightly & cook for 45 min. Stir in vegetables, nuts, etc. & continue cooking for 5 min. Serve. Makes 6 servings.
