Tasty Buckwheat Casserole
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp. (45mL) Oil
1 Large Onion, Chopped
2 Cups (500mL) Water
3 Tbsp. (45mL) Whole Wheat Flour
4 Cups Cooked Buckwheat
Pinch of Sage
Directions:
Heat a heavy frypan, add the oil & the onion, saute until transparent.
Stir in the flour until browned. Add the water & stir until slightly thickened. Add sage & the cooked Buckwheat. Turn into an oiled 2 qt.
(2L) casserole dish. Bake for 30 mins. at 350* (180*C). Serves 4-6.
