Soup Mix

Ingredients: Green Split Peas, Red Split Lentils, Long Grain Brown Rice, Whole Green Lentils, Yellow Split Peas, Barley, Parsley Flakes.
SOUP MIX
2 cups Soup Mix
8 cups water
1 cup carrots, diced
1 cup celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped

Directions:
Saute onions & celery together. Add water, Soup Mix & carrots & bring to a boil.
Simmer for approx. 1 hour or until the peas are done. Add vegetable, chicken or ham soup base for added flavour or your own seasonings such as garlic, rosemary, cumin, etc. Additional vegetables, pasta or leftover chicken may be added to make it a substantial & healthy meal. This soup mix does not require presoaking. Makes an excellent soup!
