Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2-1/3 cups Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
1-1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup Butter or Margarine
1-1/2 cups Brown Sugar, packed
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1-1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
Directions:
Heat oven to 350*F (180*C). Combine oats, flour, baking soda & salt. Stir well to blend. Cream butter, brown sugar, eggs & vanilla. Add dry ingredients & mix well. Stir in chocolate chips & nuts. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheets. Flatten to 3-1/2 inch (9cm) circles.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden. Cool on pans for 5 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
