Cabbage Roll Casserole

Ingredients:
1 tbsp. Oil
1-1/2 Ib. Ground Beef
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 can Tomato Sauce (398mL)
1 cup Water
4 cups Shredded Cabbage
1/2 cup uncooked Rice
Sour Cream (optional)

Directions:
Heat Oil in a large skillet, add Ground Beef. Cook, stirring just until the meat loses its pink color. Add Onion, Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Tomato Sauce & Water. Bring to a simmer, add Rice, cover & cook for about 10 mins. Spread half of the Shredded Cabbage in a large greased casserole (3L), covered with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers. Do not stir. Cover with foil & bake at 325*F for 1-1/2 hours or until Cabbage is tender. Optional - serve with Sour Cream. Serves approx. 6.
