
Preparation
Step 1
Place the double cream, vanilla and sugar in a large bowl and whip until it is light and thick. Don't over whip the cream to stiff peaks.
Step 2
Fold in the sliced strawberries and broken meringue nests.
Step 3
Dollop the eton mess into twist top Kilner jars to serve.
Step 4
To create your white chocolate shavings, take the blade of a large (non-serrated) knife and put it against the flat, wide surface of your chocolate bar. A large bar of chocolate will work better than a small one. Using a little pressure, carefully scrape the chocolate towards you to form chocolate shavings. Decorate the tops of your eton mess jars with the white chocolate and more strawberries.
