Ingredients
1 (790g) tin chopped tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, pressed
55ml extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp dried oregano
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and leave to sit for about 20 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
Step 2
The sauce can be made ahead of time and kept covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
