Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually whisk in milk. Stir in chili powder, cumin and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Add cheese; stir until melted.
