Ingredients
1 ¼ cup Mexican crema (or sour cream, or greek yogurt)
2 chipotle in adobo peppers
1 Tablespoon agave syrup (or honey)
½ lime (juice)
1 clove garlic
2 Tablespoons water
salt & pepper (to taste)
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
Step 2
Blend at high speed until nicely smooth and creamy.
Step 3
Taste the sauce and adjust the flavors to taste by adding more lime juice, salt, etc.
Step 4
Transfer to a bowl and serve or to a jar with a tight lid and store for up to 1 week.
